Bespoke Fitted Furniture Essex & Herts

My name is John Adamson and I run a small business concentrating exclusively on high quality bespoke fitted furniture. Almost any project is possible, from ultra-modern sprayed units to traditional alcove units and wardrobes. All of my traditional alcove units and wardrobes are truly traditional, with doors being inset handmade solid Poplar as opposed to overlay mdf.

Up to fifty percent of my work is creating traditional panelled units. A typical pair of living room alcove units constructed out of moisture resistant mdf and Poplar (to be painted) would cost approximately £3500. Wardrobes are more difficult to estimate due to a potentially more varied specification, though a guide price would be approx £2600-£3000 per 1.1 linear metres left to right; this is for full height, consisting of a pair of tall doors below/two small doors above and with a proper carcass construction internally. Any internal specification is possible. The prices indicated above are unpainted.

The projects listed above are also possible in any wood specified, and internals for wardrobes are also available in solid wood; for example, Oak, Ash, Maple or Walnut, with larger areas in veneered mdf.

Other projects regularly supplied are bookcases/floating shelves, studies and media units. I also provide bespoke kitchens and granite supply.

If I am supplied with rough dimensions, specifications, pictures of the area in question and potential styles, it is possible to give an accurate estimate before visiting your house. If the estimate is acceptable, I will visit your house and discuss details with a view to giving a fixed written quote. Drawings and CGI illustrations are possible, though generally we charge for this service .... these charges are fully refundable if given the work.

As much work as possible is done in the workshop in order to reduce disruption on-site. I am fully insured. Two garden commissions, a duck-house and a tree house can be seen in the gallery. Other services such as tiling, plastering and decorating can usually be arranged.

Although I am based in North Essex, my proximity to the neighbouring counties of Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk means that work in these counties is welcomed. Projects in North London and North Kent are also undertaken.
